Panixa Med is built and operated by AI Health Solution Landstad (organisation number 937 977 212), a Norwegian company dedicated to strengthening clinical competence and improving patient care through technology. Our mission is to make specialised clinical knowledge accessible to all healthcare workers, regardless of time and place.
Panixa Med is built on current national and international guidelines for wound care, including guidelines from the Norwegian Directorate of Health, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (FHI), the European Wound Management Association (EWMA) and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). Clinical content is updated regularly to reflect new research and changed guidelines.
Panixa Med is designed for nurses, mental health nurses, auxiliary nurses, care workers and healthcare students in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, the United Kingdom and Germany. The app is used in hospitals, care homes, health centres, community nursing, outpatient clinics and on night shifts.
We have a dedicated system for monitoring guideline changes and updating clinical content. All articles and guidelines have source references and a 'last updated' date. Content is reviewed regularly to ensure it is in line with current practice.
Panixa Med is an independent clinical decision support tool and is not a medical device under the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR). The tool does not replace clinical assessment by qualified healthcare professionals.
