Panixa Med collects email address and name upon registration, clinical data you enter in the wound journal and clinical tools, user activity, and payment information is processed by Stripe. Clinical patient data should be anonymised — do not enter personally identifiable information about patients.
Personal data is used to provide clinical decision support, personalise content and recommendations, improve the platform, and send relevant messages. Clinical patient data is treated as health information.
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete and port your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated data from the app settings.
Panixa Med stores data on encrypted servers. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel. Clinical images uploaded for wound assessment are treated confidentially.
Panixa Med uses the browser's local storage to remember settings such as dark mode, text size, language choice and freemium usage. We collect device and usage data such as page counts, clicks and timestamps via built-in analytics to improve the platform. We do not use advertising cookies or track you across third-party websites.
Payment information is processed by Stripe (PCI DSS certified). AI assistance is delivered via built-in LLM services that process questions confidentially. Social media integrations (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) are used only for publishing and analysis of our own content. Each third party is a data processor and processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Account data is retained as long as the account is active. Clinical patient data is stored only on your device unless you actively synchronise. User activity data is automatically deleted after 24 months. Upon account deletion, all personal data is removed within 30 days, except data we are required to retain under accounting law.
